Thanksgiving Adopt a Family
Each Thanksgiving, we partner with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Adopt-a-Family Program to provide complete Thanksgiving meals to families transitioning from homelessness and other challenging circumstances.
Care throughout the year
WHI also donates clothing and toys to shelters serving single mothers and children. Our founders’ personal commitment to these families sits alongside a broader welcome to our whole community.
2026 goal: 100 families.
Our $10,000 campaign goal will help provide 100 complete Thanksgiving meals. A gift of $100 supports one family, and gifts of any amount help us move toward that goal.
You can give, volunteer, organize a drive, or connect your organization with WHI.
Donations are completed securely on Zeffy in a new tab.
